Daniel Duty is an internationally known expert in the fields of negotiation, partnerships and coalition building. He is the founder and CEO of Conlego, a firm specializing in these areas for business, non-profits and governments. Over 30 years, Daniel has delivered over $7 billion in value and impact for organizations like Target, Whole Foods, American Greetings, AARP and UNICEF.
Daniel built the Business Partnerships and Negotiations team for Target. He also served as its VP of Global Affairs & Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to that he worked in the US Senate, and at the US International Trade Commission and General Mills.
Daniel has led hundreds of negotiations on every conceivable topic with companies such as Coca Cola, Hasbro, and Levi’s. He developed strategic partnerships creating innovative new products and solutions with organizations like P&G, Starbucks and UNICEF.
Daniel also facilitated the creation of the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, a coalition of western concerns that addressed dangerous conditions in garment factories in record time.
For 20 years, Daniel has taught thousands of people in the art and science of negotiation, partnership and coalition building at companies, forums and leading universities.
